The Minnesota Twins are shaking things up in their leadership team.
Dave St. Peter, who has been calling the shots as team president and CEO for over two decades, is stepping back into a quieter role as “strategic advisor.” This change means Derek Falvey will now oversee both baseball and business operations, taking on a bigger job while still making key baseball decisions.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us — Derek and I in particular — to land the plane on a transition plan,” St. Peter said in a statement. “But I’m confident that we’ll do that in a way that is beneficial not just for us, but more importantly, for the people that work inside the Twins, our Major League player group, our player development group and all of our fans and partners.”

Jeremy Zoll steps up from assistant general manager to take over Thad Levine’s old position as general manager. Fans might wonder if these changes will bring fresh energy or just more questions.
The Twins have seen playoff action ten times over 22 years but haven’t made it to the World Series since 1991. In recent seasons, they stumbled late in 2024 despite making it to playoffs four times in eight years.
So what do you think about all these changes? Will they help or hurt?
