Monday’s games are crucial for the 2024 baseball season.
Two teams are battling it out, and another team’s playoff hopes depend on the outcome. The Mets face off against the Braves in a doubleheader. If either team wins both games, they join the Diamondbacks in the playoffs. A split means both teams advance, sending the D-backs home.

Matt Olson: Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-115)
Olson had a slow start this year but finished strong. In his last 19 games, he hit .391/.512/.656 with five doubles, four homers, 20 RBI, and scored ten runs. That’s an average of nearly three hits plus runs plus RBI per game; we need just two to win this prop.
Mets’ starter Tylor Megill struggles against lefties. Last time they faced off on July 27th, Olson hit a homerun. If he repeats that performance Monday, we’re golden.
Spencer Schwellenbach: Under 5.5 Strikeouts (+125)
Schwellenbach might pitch well Monday but doesn’t need many strikeouts to do so—plus money is appealing here! The Mets can be tough to strike out; their season strikeout rate was average overall.
Fans might think this is a risky bet given Schwellenbach’s recent form.
He faced them recently on Sept. 24th and allowed just one run over seven innings but struck out only four batters then too! He’s only managed more than five strikeouts once in his last five starts (exactly six).
Seeing him again so soon should help Mets hitters get better reads on his pitches—making it unlikely he’ll rack up many more Ks than before.
