Soto Scratched from Yankees Lineup with Bruised Hand

Juan Soto was pulled from Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays due to a bruised right hand.

He hurt himself sliding into home during Friday’s win, but stayed in and even hit a three-run homer later. The Yankees announced he will get imaging done on his hand.

Here’s the moment Soto got injured:

Losing Soto now would be a huge problem for the Yankees . Even though they won big on Friday, they’ve lost seven of their last nine games. Soto is one of their best hitters with a .302 average and 20 homers.

Yankees’ Injury Woes:

The team is already missing Anthony Rizzo and Giancarlo Stanton, who are both out for weeks. Before Saturday’s game, they struggled to score more than two runs in four out of six games. While Aaron Judge and Soto are great hitters, they can’t carry the team alone.

This isn’t the first time Soto has been hurt this month. He missed three games earlier due to left forearm inflammation but didn’t need any major treatment.

Fans might think it’s tough luck for the Yankees right now.

Despite these challenges, the Yankees still have a strong record at 53-31, just behind the Orioles in AL East standings with one of baseball’s top winning percentages.
