Baseball season is winding down, and the days with multiple games are becoming rare.
For those who love baseball, now is the time to enjoy every moment before the long winter arrives. Gamblers should also seize the opportunity to place their bets while they can. I had a good run recently, going 2-0 on Wednesday, so let’s aim to keep that momentum going.
Yankees vs. Guardians Showdown
The Yankees face off against the Guardians at 5:08 p.m. ET with Clarke Schmidt taking on Matthew Boyd. Schmidt had some injury troubles this year but managed a 3.65 ERA in his last five starts of the regular season. In his only playoff start so far, he pitched 4 2/3 innings against the Royals, allowing two runs and striking out four batters.
Boyd joined the Guardians in June and has impressed with a 2.72 ERA over eight starts. He hasn’t given up any runs in these playoffs yet! He’s allowed five hits and three walks while striking out ten across 6 2/3 innings so far this postseason.
Both José RamÃrez and Aaron Judge have struggled throughout their playoff careers until Game 2 when they both hit home runs during their final at-bats ! Fans might be thinking that these homers will boost their confidence for future games.
RamÃrez shines at home; he’s gone 3 for 8 against Schmidt with a double and three RBIs! Plus, he hit a homer off Luke Weaver too! Meanwhile, Judge boasts a .735 slugging percentage versus lefties this season—he even homered off Boyd back in August!
Dodgers vs. Mets Evening Clash
Later tonight at 8:08 p.m., Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes on José Quintana as Dodgers meet Mets once more! Yamamoto returned from shoulder injury to make four mixed-result starts before closing regular season strong by pitching five scoreless innings in Game Five win over Padres despite earlier struggles against them in NLDS opener!
Quintana’s been dominant lately—0.74 ERA over his last six regular-season starts—and continued excellence into playoffs where he’s allowed just one unearned run across eleven innings while striking out eleven opponents!
The play here? Mets +114 seems like solid choice given Quintana’s current form coupled with doubts about how deep Yamamoto can pitch tonight… plus there’s always chance Dodgers’ bullpen falters under pressure too…
What do you think? Will your favorite team come out victorious?
