Thursday was another rough day for Marlins manager Skip Schumaker.
He faced a tough choice with Shohei Ohtani at bat in the seventh inning. Schumaker decided not to walk Ohtani, saying “F— that” despite the challenging situation.

Ohtani finished the game with an unbelievable line: 6 for 6 with three home runs, two doubles, a single, two stolen bases , ten RBIs (runs batted in), and four runs scored.
Afterward, Schumaker summed up his feelings: “Good day for baseball, bad day for the Marlins.”
The Marlins now have a record of 56-97 this season. Meanwhile, the Dodgers improved to 91-62 and secured their spot in the playoffs.
