The Los Angeles Dodgers have introduced their new City Connect uniforms.
These fresh uniforms will make their debut on Saturday when the Dodgers face the Los Angeles Angels. They honor both their current home in Los Angeles and their roots in Brooklyn.
The jersey’s front design is inspired by the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where the Dodgers first played in 1958.
The hashtag #ITFDB, standing for “It’s Time for Dodgers Baseball,” is also featured prominently. This phrase was made famous by Vin Scully, who said it before every home game.
Uniform Design Details:
The numbers on these jerseys use a font from when the team moved from Brooklyn. The colors are cobalt and Electric Blue with a touch of “Chili Red.” The red symbolizes the traditional red numbers on their regular uniforms.
Back in 2021, they released City Connect uniforms celebrating L.A.’s Latino community with “Los Dodgers” across the front. Those older versions have been retired to make way for these new cream-colored ones.
It's all in the details. 💫
