Aaron Judge hit a big milestone on Monday night.
He smacked his 1,000th hit with a line drive to right field off Jose Ferrer at Nationals Park. Earlier this month, he also became the fastest player to reach 300 home runs. Now, he’s one of only 55 active players with at least 1,000 hits.
Here’s the moment Judge got his 1,000th hit:

Judge’s Historic Achievements:
Judge has racked up 1,000 career hits and an impressive 308 home runs. Only Mark McGwire had more homers when he reached his own milestone of 1,000 hits with 311. They are the only two players in history to have over 300 homers before hitting that mark.
This season has been phenomenal for Judge. He entered Monday’s game with a .333 batting average, .465 on-base percentage, and .736 slugging percentage. With the most home runs (51) and RBIs (122) in baseball , he also leads all players with a WAR of 9.4. Fans think he’s having one of the best seasons ever for a right-handed hitter.
“I just try to be a good hitter and teammate,” Judge said last weekend via MLB.com. “If I can do that well enough, by season’s end the numbers will be where they should be.”
Judge is now the 42nd Yankee to record over 1,000 hits and could climb into the top-30 all-time Yankees’ hits list by next year. He already ranks seventh in team history for home runs.
The Yankees currently lead the AL East with a record of 77-54, holding a slim lead over the Baltimore Orioles by just one and a half games.
