Baseball season is here, and ballparks are serving up some seriously wild food options that go way beyond peanuts and Cracker Jack.
MLB teams are constantly looking for new ways to get fans excited about coming to the stadium – and spending money at concession stands. This year, they’ve outdone themselves with some truly eye-catching menu items.
Many ballparks have taken classic stadium foods and given them bizarre makeovers.
Imagine a footlong hot dog smothered in mac and cheese. Or maybe a dessert quesadilla is more your style? Whether you’ve got a sweet tooth or prefer savory snacks, there’s something weird waiting for you at the concession stand.
Let’s check out the 10 craziest new foods you’ll find at MLB ballparks in 2025.
## 10. Filthy Mac Fries | Arizona Diamondbacks
The Diamondbacks decided to throw a bunch of random ingredients on cajun fries, and honestly, it works. These fries come loaded with white cheddar mac and cheese, pork belly bacon, and crispy onions – basically a whole meal piled on top of fries.
Any D-backs fan who shows up hungry won’t need to eat again for days after tackling this monster.
## 9. Polish Cannonballs | Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates are showing love to their Polish Hill community with these unique snacks at PNC Park.
These fried balls are packed with egg noodles, kielbasa, cabbage, bacon and cheddar cheese. They’re perfectly sized for eating in your seat while watching the game, and they sound absolutely delicious.
## 8. Warehouse Burger | Baltimore Orioles
This burger is basically a “Man vs. Food” challenge that you can attempt while watching one of baseball’s most exciting teams.
Fans better bring their appetite for this monster, which features two beef patties, queso, and fried onions all stuffed inside a pretzel bun.
Anyone who finishes this thing in nine innings deserves some kind of trophy.
## 7. Celebration Cake Milkshake | Chicago White Sox
The White Sox are celebrating their 125th anniversary this year, and that might be all the celebrating that happens at Rate Field this season.
In honor of their birthday, they’re selling what’s basically birthday cake and ice cream – just blended up and served in a cup with cake chunks and a cookie on top. It’s over-the-top indulgent, and I’m not mad about it.
## 6. Daddy Mac Dog | Houston Astros
This footlong hot dog is topped with what feels like an entire appetizer menu from your local BBQ joint.
The Daddy Mac Dog comes loaded with brisket, mac and cheese, and fried pickles. Eating this hot dog is definitely a team sport – you’ll need at least two or three people to finish it.
## 5. Blue Velvet Whoopie Pies | Kansas City Royals
Whoopie pies are classic treats, and the Royals have put their own bright blue spin on them this year.
There’s no way you’ll miss these when fans are snacking on them in the stands. No word yet on whether Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern were involved in creating this odd ballpark dessert.
## 4. Helmet Tiramisu | New York Yankees
If you’ve ever eaten ice cream out of those little souvenir helmets on a hot summer day, you know it can turn to soup before you even get back to your seat.
The Yankees have solved that problem with their Helmet Tiramisu. Fans still get their collectible helmet, but they don’t have to worry about their dessert melting in 60 seconds.
## 3. S’mores Quesadillas | Philadelphia Phillies
Ever wanted to make s’mores at a baseball game but couldn’t because open flames aren’t allowed?
The Phillies have found a clever workaround with their S’mores Quesadillas. You get all that delicious s’mores flavor without worrying about melted chocolate dripping onto your new Bryce Harper jersey.
## 2. What Up Corndog | Seattle Mariners
Sometimes corndogs just look a little too normal, you know? The Mariners have created a corndog that will make hungry fans do a double-take.
This bright green corndog might look strange, but it’s actually honey-battered and covered in a spicy, crunchy coating. Once you get past the unusual color, it sounds pretty tasty.
## 1. Cotton Candy Fries | Toronto Blue Jays
Sweet and savory usually work well together, but the Blue Jays are really pushing those limits at Rogers Centre this year.
These Cotton Candy Fries combine two stadium classics and cover them in a bright blue sauce. If nothing else, they’ll be popular with the morbidly curious.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little intrigued myself.
